Deepak Patil
After graduating in Fine and Commercial Art from Raheja School of Art, Mumbai (1998), Deepak Patil began his career in animation, contributing to India’s first animated feature film Hanuman, the international project Sherlock Holmes, and several Hindi film title sequences. He worked with leading studios like Silvertoon, Crest, Illusion, Escotoon, and Jingle Toon on 2D and 3D projects, including King and Chocolatecha Bangla. Trained under renowned artists such as Kamath Sir and Acharekar Sir, he transitioned to full-time painting in 2007. Deepak’s sand-based and watercolor landscapes have won global acclaim, including India’s first gold at the 2019 Olympia Art International Competition.

Savio Mascarenhas - Group Art Director (ACK)
Savio Mascarenhas is the Group Art Director at Amar Chitra Katha. He is the co-creator of characters like Mopes and Purr, Super Suppandi, Janoo and Wooly Woo and Little Shambu characters from TINKLE. He has been illustrating the adventures of Shikari Shambu for the past 24 years now.
